hey art friends we want to wish you guys, a happy memorial day, all right checkers you got your marker, yeah all right we hope you guys have a, marker you're gonna draw with us you, don't have to use a marker if you don't, want to you can use a pencil or whatever, you feel comfortable with yes and we, hope that they have paper too of course, of course paper yeah today is memorial, day and we want to wish you guys a happy, holiday and to celebrate we thought it, would be fun to draw soldier yeah you, ready to start yeah okay also today is, monday so at the end of the video we're, gonna show off their awesome art so be, sure to stay till the end we're gonna, start with our paper vertical yes and, we're gonna start with this head so, we're gonna draw a little u-shape right, here for his head but at the bottom i'm, going to put a little point kind of for, his chin, it's not a sharp point it's a round, point, good, awesome now on the top let's connect the, top and this is going to be for his, helmet, now on those edges right there where we, connected let's extend it out just past, his head, there we go, now let's connect the top with rainbow, line and that's his helmet, cool now let's give him goggles all, right so let's do an upside down, u or kind of a rainbow line right over, where his nose would be, and then we're gonna connect the sides, of that u, upside down u, to the, sides of his head now that's his goggles, and we could darken in maybe the edge, let's thicken the edge up, so it looks, like the frame of the goggles, good now let's draw his mouth, we're just going to do a little, line like that, and then we can also do a little line, for his nose, awesome, good now let's draw his neck let me draw, two lines coming down, okay and then we're going to draw a v to, connect the bottom of his neck, all right now we're going to draw an a, shape right here this is going to be for, his collar, and then we can draw a line down on both, sides, and then connect those two lines on each, side, there we go we got his collar let's draw, a chin strap on him so let's draw a, little, bump on his chin, and then we can draw a line that comes, down his head and connect into, that, chin, the, chin strap, awesome okay now let's draw our, shoulders so we're going to draw two, lines that come out for shoulders, okay now let's draw his body so we're, going to draw two lines that come down, and they kind of taper towards the, bottom, see how they come closer you don't want, them to come too close because we don't, want them to have a skinny waist yes, he's got his jacket on and he's got a, bunch of gear on him so we don't want to, draw him too skinny now let's connect, his waist, awesome okay now we're going to turn, this into a vest that's going to have a, lot of equipment so let's draw another v, right under his collar, good and then we'll draw a line down his, vest, now let's put a lot of pockets on here, so i'm going to draw a rectangle a big, one on this side, okay and then a v for the top flap of, that pocket, then i'm going to draw another rectangle, on this side, okay and then i'm going to draw two, lines down so these are there's three, little pockets, good and then we can draw the flaps, on, those pockets, good now we could draw let's draw, another pocket up here on his shoulder, good and then we could draw some bigger, pockets down here, on his stomach, awesome now i'm going to put some uh, detail going this direction, and then i'm gonna put another pocket on, this side, okay we're gonna draw him holding a gun, so let's draw a long rectangle that's, coming out from behind him so it's going, to be kind of under his arm, there we go now we're going to draw, another rectangle right here, it's maybe a little thicker, and then we'll draw one more rectangle, that's going to be, even thicker, and we want them to look like they're, going in a straight line so we don't, want the gun to look like it's crooked, good it's kind of crooked that's okay it, works and then on this this is going to, be the barrel of the gun and we'll draw, it skinnier, good job okay now let's draw his arm, that's coming down and holding on to it, so this we're going to draw it coming, down and we can draw it kind of wobbly, because he has a jacket on it's going to, come down here and we're going to stop, just below his where we drew the bottom, of his vest, good now we're gonna let's go ahead and, connect that into the gun, and then we're gonna draw his hand and, it's gonna be holding the gun like that, good now we can draw let's draw another, detail on the side of his arm, awesome and then you know what, let's add some more details to the gun, so let's do some stripes, marks down this part, and we can draw a little smaller box on, each side of the barrel over here, okay let's draw his other arm so we're, going to do the same thing we're going, to come out from his vest and we're, going to draw similar to the other arm, so i i drew little waves in it so it, looks like wrinkles in his jacket, then i'm going to come back up here, about the same place where the gun comes, out of his the side of his arm and then, we're going to draw another wrinkle that, comes down wrinkly line comes down, next to the other line on his arm okay, then we're going to connect the bottom, and then let's draw his hand so we're, going to draw a thumb, first, little hook, and then we're going to come back, and we're going to draw one finger, and we can draw another finger, overlapping, and another one right behind that one, and then connect that into his, into a sleeve good job, that's a big hand i like it, he's tough all right okay now let's draw, the other patch over here or maybe this, is a part of his his uniform that's, because they're sl their uh elbows need, to be reinforced so they don't wear, holes in their jacket all right let's, draw the bottom of this jacket coming, out underneath his vest so we're going, to draw two lines coming down, then we can draw an a shape, and then connect the a shape to the, sides, it's wearing short shorts yeah, those are not shorts, that would be awkward, all right now let's draw his legs we're, going to draw, a line coming down from under his jacket, this line can be wobbly also because, we're going to show, that there's there's wrinkles on his, clothes oh, good job that's okay you drew this other, line in there we're gonna draw his legs, a lot thicker than that yeah okay so, we're gonna draw we're gonna draw an a, shape in between these legs and we're, not gonna go all the way up so we're, just gonna, just like that, so you can leave that line in there and, maybe we can turn that into something, else detail pocket yeah maybe some big, pockets let's do that let's add a big, pocket right here on the side, and on the other side too, there we go we fixed it okay now let's, give them some some knee pads so we're, gonna connect, a line at the bottom, good and then let's draw, ovals right here, so leave a little gap and then draw kind, of an oval shape, these are gonna be as knee pads, circle square, yeah kind of a circle square rounded, square then we're going to draw a line, that connects down past on both sides, past the knee pad, good now let's draw a contour liner, curved line to connect the bottom of his, knee pads, then we're going to draw his calf so the, area where his calves are and then we're, going to sew two lines on both sides and, then this is going to go into his boots, okay and then we're going to connect the, bottom there, then we're going to draw his boot so on, this side we're going to draw a line, that comes down and then out, kind of an l shape and then the same on, the other side, good and then on this side we're going, to draw a line down past, the l shape, good job and then let's connect the, bottom of his boots into his heel, good now on the bottom of his boots, let's draw one more line and that's for, the sole of his boot, okay and then we're going to draw, some details on his boots we're going to, come down and draw a little shape like, that, on both sides, it's going down, and then let's draw the shoelaces so i'm, going to draw an x, down, the front, of those boots, oh whoops, that's okay you put the x's on the left, side that's totally fine let's just, leave it it's okay we're practicing, right yeah let's add more equipment to, his legs so i'm gonna add another, couple pockets on the side of his pants, over here and on this side too, okay i'm gonna add another detail up, here on the top of his helmet, then i'm gonna add some dots, down here, on his, knee pads, there we go i'm gonna add three on the, top and then three on the bottom, that looks tough and then also it can, add maybe as a belt underneath if you, have room for it that's okay if you, don't that's fine too okay good job dude, give me five, did you have fun yeah all right we need, to color them though yes let's pick out, the colors we'll come back okay we're, gonna use black dark brown medium brown, a light brown and also a peach color you, ready fast forward yeah let's do it, right now, awesome okay i added some big pockets on, his waist and then for his camouflage we, just did little spots of, the light brown the dark brown and also, the medium brown and then let's get the, black and let's add some more shading so, i'm going to add a little shadow, underneath his sleeve, right here on his glove, and on this side also, and then i'm going to add some shading, kind of on the inside of his arm right, under his armpit, i'm going to do that on the other side, too this is going to make his arms look, more round, then i'm also going to add some shading, right under his knee pads under here, on both sides and then maybe even under, the actual knee, cap, good now i'm going to add one more, shadow under his waist, so under his jacket part, now i'm also going to get the medium, brown and i'm going to add a shadow on, the inside of his boot, we don't want to use the black because, that'll be too dark, so the inside of his boot see how that, that makes that he looks a lot more 3d, huh yeah then i'm going to use the black, again on the inside of his leg kind of, like what we did on the inside of his, sleeve, and then i'm going to use the medium, brown to shade his knee pad so the, inside of his knee pad, bollocks awesome, okay and then the last step i'm going to, use the black to shade the side of his, body, right here, under his arm, now his body looks more round yeah, sweet dude that looks awesome give me, five did you have fun yeah you promised, all right well we still need to show off, they're all smart yeah, every single monday we feature your, awesome art and we love doing this we, put together a slideshow of all the, drawings that you've emailed to us, what's our email address myra, forgive.com yes my art art for kidzone, yeah take a picture of all the art that, you've done over the past week and send, that one photo to us have your parents, send it to us and we'll feature you in, our next monday video should we show it, off yeah let's do it right now, do, do, do, do, you

This took SO many hours and it isn't even technically the first page... Maybe I should have picked something easier for my first time trying adult coloring, but I've always been ambitious.
