hello everyone and welcome mrs condon, cam and in today's video we are going to, be ranking every sideswipe design from, worst to best and who better to join me, than my good friend, lewis best person in the world obviously, besides sideswipe you sound like our id, satisfied, if you didn't know guys he voice side, swipe in robots in disguise that's why, he sounds so cool, yeah you laugh okay because you know, it's not true now sideswipe's got a lot, of designs so we've got a lot to get, through so let's get right through the, tears the highest here has got to be his, most iconic line, damn good following up next we've got i, don't break rules i bend them a lot, now for the middle tier which is and, we'll let you escape with your dignity, well we kind of like it but then we, don't at the same time the second to, last worst tier has got to be, we're wasting good ammo on these creeps, i'd like to just squash a few of them, and finally the worst tier, please take me to jail this place is so, much worse, first up we have the generation one toy, box so now i really like this this is, really good and the cartoon version, actually matches up with this really, well i like it because it is one of the, better representations of him i guess i, believe this belongs in damn i'm good, because it's actually a pretty good g1, toy boxer and moving on to that we'll, talk about the cartoon design like i, said it's pretty authentic to the g1 toy, box so like this was translated really, well i really like sideswipes design, it's definitely one of the most unique, models and definitely compared to some, streaker they just look good together, we'll talk about his two appearances, from the marvel comics at the same time, i think the colors are just really off, on both of these here no i mean most of, them looks all right i just think, like more consistent with the how the g1, looked because it i don't know why it's, just the g1 look i actually look pretty, good so the last marvel comics g1r we, can find is actually a different head, now this would be kind of cool as a, battle mask but he just looks like a rom, knight kind of character that's a bit, odd he needs to go to jail, yeah because that face is criminal yeah, all right next door we have action, master side swipe and um, i don't like this what's going on with, the freaking head thing, send him to jail he looks like a kid, that put a blanket on his head i don't, know you put blankets over kids heads, laura's towel, that's worse, next up we have decoy sideswipe and this, guy has been out for some way too long, you know what i'm saying, that's terrible, let's actually talk about the g2 colors, what do you think good bad why is it, green, i mean i like it because i like his, colors because i always liked g2's, clothes besides right that's because, it's a very stealth mode look i i think, he deserves a higher tier actually for, that though, don't break the rules yeah next up we, got the g2 toy side swipe gobotsline, isn't this just, please take me to joe all right next up, we've got alternator slash vinyl tech, side swipe now vr looks actually pretty, good but it's the, alternator's toy version which does not, look good his car mode looks good it's, just his, robot mode, looks like it's, just a pile of [ __ ], all the cars look actually really good, for these alternators lying, i mean i think it's because they're, built, off of the car first before they made, the toy, bizarrely though the art looks better, than the actual toy so i'm going to put, the art higher than the toy, next up we've got the exclusive 2003, side swipe this is just basically robots, in disguise prowl but red i mean the car, actually looks pretty cool it's actually, very faithful to g1 it's just the robot, mode that's just a bit like, because it's a mixed bag we're like the, car but not the robot yeah, escape for dignity i guess, unmade g2 side swipe this was a mock-up, oh my god it looks like vomit i mean i, like the spray idea at the back god he's, got terrible taste, no i'm saying yellow are you crazy, but i like the spray i do i mean that's, just me though all right next up we have, side swipe from transformers armada to, be honest, kind of controversial maybe, i don't like this design all that much, the vehicle mode like i actually like, the vehicle mode a lot even though i, would definitely not choose blue for, sideswipe it's just a bit too skinny in, some areas, i'll just straight up don't like it okay, that's lewis's opinion yeah armada did, have another size web design a 3d battle, card, [Laughter], you thought that would be a good idea, louis there's a dedicated fan base for, these 3d battle cars do not upset them, it's trash all right next up we have, shattered glass side swipe now this is, basically wheel jack from armada just, painted, in different colors, and he has the head of actual sideswipe, these colours don't really do it all, that much for me wheeljacks armada, design is actually more like side swipes, you know which is kind of like a reverse, of designs, i don't think it could escape with this, dignity because it resembles sideswipe, next up we have the universe classics, 2008 sideswipe now this is actually a, real popular toy when it comes to, sideswipe, i mean i can't actually say i rate it, that highly to be fair i think it's just, i don't like the wheels being on the, front of him, and the neck is a bit too lowered he, does look a bit, odd for a toy, um because the size raps always had his, wheels on his side and then, his body's like way too big which i, understand due to the card mode probably, i know him and sun streaker were more, popular together like people like these, toys side by side instead of like, individually, not the worst design i've ever seen i, just don't like how, flat and big his chest is um no i'd say, that's probably loyal to his design from, g1 he's always had a bit of a flat chest, it's the same with the other design i, like his vehicle but i don't like his, robot mode next up we got chance was, animated sideswipe they decided to take, a different direction instead of being, based on his original generation one, colour as they did for generation two, colours which i actually really like now, they do have a version of him in his, original g1 form but this is just the, randomness minor model but this was in, the complete horsepower gormanic the, black g2 version of him is meant to be, his older version after the war i think, the red ones is younger version i mean i, wish they changed things about it a bit, more personally i'd say damn i'm good, because i really like the designs for, them for some reason i like his chords i, think his original colors are okay but, his head should have just been the same, as, the g2 version next up we've got another, transfers animated one but this is just, a head this was in the great war board, game in the old spark almanac this is by, bill foster himself, i mean it's all right it's just not in, the style of derek j wyatt, next up we have titanium sideswipe which, i believe this is an take on the vinyl, tech, lewis's face is so, expressionless, because, i don't care if anyone likes it i don't, please take it to jail yeah, i think enough sudden, we've got queue, i love his head i don't know why, his head makes him look very, just anime i think this is good so you, could shut up ah damn i'm good, yeah, that would be the greatest debate, the most controversial position ever oh, in the transformer history, we have cyber battalion site ow we have, cyber battalion now this kind of gives, me wind charger vibes actually it could, be a waste of a moment we are wasting, them we also wasted time, all right let's move on to a hot take, one side swipe from robots in disguise, i like everything, except the head, but i get why they did it yeah it just, makes them more human than robot, only human, it doesn't need it doesn't need that, it's a freaking transformer but not, human, cybertronians can't have style yeah he, has style, i guess we kind of feel the same for his, other color zone because we've got, desert mode, and then we have arctic mode ninja mode, which is just a toy thank god but he, does have, writing on him and then we have his, powered up armor from the battlegrounds, to powder which looks absolutely stupid, i mean i don't mind the bottle no lewis, it's absolutely stupid it makes me think, of the lowest, i mean i think the original, red is superior than the rest of them, what where does it belong although they, escaped with its dignity i think it's, good it's just the head obviously the, best one has got to be surprise drink, sideswipe, drink and play it's just weird send that, to jail, that's a crime against humanity and then, we've got tiny titan sideswipe which he, just looks like his little brother yeah, i don't know what's going on there send, him to jail, all right next we got kinder egg side, swipe i mean, what's going on with his waist bro yeah, there uh that must be something to do, with the egg i mean look he looks like, he's about to take a [ __ ] like how, wide, yeah so wide from each other next up we, have rescue bot side swipe now i was, actually quite surprised he appeared in, the show i remember actually being a, good episode they do kind of tone him, down a little bit well you notice that, his chest is actually that it's like a, full-on, window i mean i actually like it i, actually think it does a really good job, especially being in the tone of the show, right now we've got the rescue bot toys, and i just popped these in because they, look really funny, [Music], all trash, these, yeah your point waster all right next up, we've got creos i mean i like my lego, and i was actually gonna buy all of the, creos to the best of my ability like the, big creo i actually don't like it looks, a bit too similar to cliff jumper a, little bit, yeah yeah why is his head, yeah i don't rate this i think we're, wasting ammo on that one the road wasn't, disguised one you mistook it for, knockout it looks like knockout's head, sculpt from prime that's the reason why, because that's knockouts primary look, now isn't that the body you can tell, yeah we get it it's going to jail right, we know you hate it louis, before he actually made his debut in the, movies we have early concept art of him, and it actually looks more like rc yeah, that's why i remember that actually more, lightweight was in disguise get get rid, of it send it to jail let's actually, talk about the movie design itself we'll, talk about its original colors and then, obviously the g1 colors in the revenge, of a falling game now let's just talk, about how we appeared in provincial, fallen i mean i love this design yeah i, quite liked it because there was a quite, unique take on the character with the, wheels as his feet he could like skate, around and move really fast i actually, like the idea of his back being at his, front like i don't know why it just, looks better like the headlights on this, front look better and the blades as well, were such a neat addition to his, characters but how do we feel about it, being in the g1 colors because i don't, think it works all that well i just, preferred the g1 colors when i played it, well don't get me wrong if this was how, it would appeared in the movie i would, have still been happy either way but, just getting used to the silver i kind, of like it, and it still has a hint of red in his, chest but, uh i think they both probably belong in, damn i'm good let's actually talk about, these weird variants and these are all, walmart exclusives guys a walmart from, dark of the moon which um, i remember this video i was gonna buy it, not that version but it's the version, with with the guns but it was silver, with like a bit of red streaks inside i, wonder if this is an autobot i don't, know i don't know what really gave it, away, i hate it it looks like topspin if i'm, totally honest yeah yeah, this one is a part of an ultimate gift, set now this, is ultimate like this is the ultimate, gift set you know if you got this, for your birthday or christmas, you cheat your pants, i would just like you've been said to my, mum, what is this [ __ ] go and get me a real, size transformation it actually looks, like one man all right next up we have, gravity but sideswipe he looks so mad he, looks like he's aged 10 years no, it looks like he's aged 50 years [ __ ], i mean oh my god, jail this looks like his tombstone and, those colors those stripes i mean, no the stripes give it a go, it's like this is kind of cool, but the coloring pattern changed on the, roof for some reason but you had one, main stripe and then you had two, separate ones on the side why it should, have just been two lines to go across, the inside i think, he says this as i'm streaming, in jail without my consent but whatever, this is how we looked in the first movie, psp game now we have him in vehicle mode, an actual full model that someone's done, on deviantart thanks for that i mean, i'm actually i like to, liked, i mean when i was a kid i was like oh, who is this guy i didn't realize it, recites right but first honestly i gotta, admit i'm actually more happy with the, movie design if there was the design, that you came in the movies i would have, probably really been like that size for, it, yeah you got a point uh i don't break, the rules i've done them next up we have, oh damn i'm good, i didn't even get it out yeah it's not, this design a lot besides flight from, the wharf subject games i mean i just, think it's a unique look it's definitely, g1 inspired but all of them are just, superior all high moon i just loved, playing him in the mission next up we, have sideswiped in the transfers prime, aligned continuity this is artwork by, millionaire, felicia, sorry what, i could say, this is a combination of the movie, slashed the g1 obviously aesthetic and, honestly if this was how it appeared in, the movie i would have been happy with, it i actually really liked this a lot i, like his kneecaps as well he would have, had both features he would have been, able to walk like with feet and then, decide to skate as well i guess it's one, of the ideas i like about this concept i, think this is honestly damn i'm good all, right next up we have side swipe from, forge to fight i actually like how he, looks in this yeah it's quite good, i played that game i quite enjoyed, playing it for some reason you know i, like the vehicle mode as well i think, the mode actually looks pretty cool i, mean i'd say dumb i'm good because it's, a pretty nice design well the air force, design however i don't consider the best, at all no, it his old mode looks a bit cybertronian, which is all right, it looks flat i can see that you're, trying to represent the g1 oh what went, wrong like you're trying to represent us, but you just don't, yeah that's like what we're wrong next, up we have devastation sideswipe now, this is pretty much just for g1, i mean i'll put this in damn i'm good i, think yeah it, deserves that this is the main idw, side swipe i like it even though i think, it's kind of complicated in some areas, i like his head design definitely his, chest design's got a unique look i don't, like the doors on his arms things his, knees look a bit, like they could have been a bit, different he's got giant ass kneecaps, man, i do like the design though the next one, though um this is him from optus prime, issue 14. he's not even got her mouth, oh it's probably his proform yeah, it's like just protoform comic mode yeah, i don't know you could actually mistake, it for potentially einheit yeah that's, definitely more of an ionized build next, up we have sideswipe from season two of, robots in disguise idw this is andrew, griffith's sketch of sideswipe i, actually like this it's actually pretty, cool even though it's pretty much a, faithful rendition of generation one, yeah i probably like the, design it just looks like a more, realistic size for it anything that's, kind of more different is his chest a, bit more sharper a bit more got an edge, to it and this kind of looks like it's, bigger yeah yeah that's a giant ass, cannon, next up we have side swipe from unicron, issue five, and this is pretty much his generation, two colors this was him reborn i think, in the comics actually don't break the, walls yeah that sounds more appropriate, because i wish there was more added, details to it it gives him that hunter, feel and i feel like his cannon somewhat, adds more to him just a little bit more, just so he doesn't feel empty on the top, next up we have ball side swipe i've, seen this it's an actual toy as well, isn't it yeah it is i thought it was fun, at first but no it's an actual toy this, is called the tb side swipe red bull now, this vr looks absolutely amazing and, yeah the figure actually looks pretty, good as well yeah and you actually won't, expect it to actually turn into a ball, you know it actually does look like a, vehicle but then obviously it turns into, a ball and i actually like it i'd say, the horns on his chest, i mean his horns are really sharp like, if you touch them you will bleed they, remind me a bit of cliff from prime it's, a brilliant art style it's just, bull is a bit odd i mean he's a bulb, next door we have water cybertron siege, it's very much a faithful g1 toy which, is actually really good i like the, vehicle mode i just wish he was used, more actually in the show i don't know, what it is with most of his siege and, uh netflix both south trilogy toys i, just don't have a lot to say about them, because they're just so authentic to g1, anyway yeah, i like the idea that they did cybertron, modes and then earth modes even though, they were pretty much just the same, thing just a few model pieces sculpted, differently sideswipe actually did have, a verse toy, blah blah blah, tiny turbo sideswipe it was hot, basically just yeah hot rod but painless, sideswipe, all right let's talk about some fan arts, now we didn't do a lot of side swipe fan, art because we've already got so many, designs as it is but something we, discovered was laszlo venn's side swipe, art this is obviously inspired from the, bournemouth movie and this is really, cool lewis actually wanted to include, this why was that louis because it, actually looks like a really good size, fight is that compliment, hey i didn't trash on the dude i know i, know i know i know he did put a crying, face though so you you got to make him, smile with joy lewis this time yeah poor, smiley emoji in the comment section bro, there's it's cool that it's got the red, section on it but i would have kept it, white personally, more of a g1 representation of his, cannon now what do we think damn i'm, good or i don't break word i know i just, say dumb i'm good it's one of the good, designs i've seen in a long time, next up we have side swipe inspired from, transfers prime by eric j i actually, like it it's actually a good rendition, of a prime style i like the head i think, the one giveaway is from versus the head, and the sides like his shoulder pads i, like how they kind of come out i like, his uh chest and legs they look really, good next up we have kai raptor's side, swipe i actually really like it even, though this is not the character choice, i would have, chosen for sideswiping the cartoon show, i do respect him taking a different, creative approach because you know it's, refreshing ideas it's his own idea i, like the, design i just don't like the g2 colors, on it it does look a bit, weird so i would put this in, maybe the rules i don't believe the, rules yeah uh one of my favorite artists, on instagram and twitter is simon wong, and he did a really cool well he does, really cool everything but he did a, really cool side swipe he did a version, where it was more g1 related and then he, did a movie version of him with the, wheels her feet and i probably thought, it was cool i actually prefer the movie, version with the feet i think he, actually blends in really well, because it kind of adds in something new, to the g1 design to be fair the fact, that movie version is kind of like a, battle mode actually makes him more, hot, yeah, famous, it just looks cool it's pretty obvious, that it's down good now we have another, surprise, fan art by the legend himself louis you, did your own sideswipe but in the, rendition of animated i mean i actually, like it i think it's pretty cool, what do you think about you outlaws what, was the process of doing this must've, been so hard to come up with your own, idea, no i just did it because i was, trying i was trying out digital artwork, yeah but like they could have hired you, to do it for your spark almanacs yeah, where should we put this lures well, what you really need to do is you just, need to hire me and cameron and we'll, fix the transformers for you, obviously where do you think that, belongs to us do you think it
