okay i don't know if my songs kind of, play with the uh serenity work follow, these i get, exactly because i'm going to do my own, thing but we're going to take some ideas, from there, it comes with a little instruction book, so if you wanted to follow them, exactly how it is then, it tells you what materials you need, it tells you all the materials you need, i keep i'm sorry i'm adjusting all my, lights here, and i still got shadows anyway so it, tells you what you need, now some of these items like the stamp, pad i'm going to be using stuff from my, stash, the watercolor pencils instead of the, pencils i'm going to use their actual, watercolor paints, um the 3d foam tape, i'm using my own thing glue dots i'm, probably not using those at all, i'm not using the blocks i am using a, die cutting and, embossing machine which will be said, it says 16 cards for each of four, designs, but i'm not sticking with that, so then it shows you the layouts the, pieces to cut, so this first sheet here it tells you, the sizes, of what to cut and it shows you down, here, the paper so like this side it would be, this paper, these pieces here would be this paper, same thing over here, see where the line is, these two rows would be this these two, rows would be this i believe, and then over here it has the same thing, and then here and then, here, and here, now i don't have the vanilla well yes i, do it's in here it's in the kit, so all the papers you need are in the, kit, the stamp set and the die, you get the stamp set and the the stamp, set and the die, kit now if you order close to my heart, stamps, a stamp set like this runs around 18 it, comes automatically, in one of these sleeves so you don't, have to worry about purchasing, separately some way to store them, your dies come on a magnet, already so you don't have to worry about, getting a magnet so that's kind of an, added value i mean how many die sets do, you know come, on a magnet when you get them and, they're already apart you don't have to, cut these apart, they come already cut apart so you don't, have to worry about doing that, and don't have to worry about that it's, already cut apart, and then your stamp set could put a, little foam, pretty good if you were to buy upset, this size for 17, with the die cut is pr i think 20, something dollars if you get a stamp and, die set they're usually like 20, something dollars, we can catalog out and get a, price here let's get the january, february catalog, idea of what, it was a december, release i believe before i was a maker, i'm not 100, sure okay so here look, so this is a this is the use the, happiness lives here card making, workshop kit which i wish, because it's just i love it but, how it shows you everything, you get an exclusive and a thin cut, you sheets of happiness, patterned paper sheets four card stock, sheets, one wood hearts and 16, white card bases and envelopes now what, we got in the serenity, was i got the embellishment thread, the silver embellishment thread the, stamp and the die set, the instructions, which i already went through all this, but you get all the papers, and, the envelopes and the pre-cut card bases, the watercolor paper is just something i, have in stock and i'm using it because, i want a watercolor and i don't want to, mess the paper up, so anyway now go back go back oh look at, that stamp of the month, and that's 18.95 for the stamp set, remember when you purchase the stamp, sets they automatically come, in the protective sleeve, protective, yeah okay let's get started oh wait, i wanted to show you what an average, stamp and die set cost, oh look at these two little stamps look, at that it's a little sending love, postage stamp for 3.95, or made with love for 3.95, sending well wishes six stamps it's only, 10.95, for 10.95 you get this all these stamps, right, and it comes in a protective case and, for 15.95 you can get the stamps and the, metal dies, because with two metal dies i got the, shape shown here, how cool is that these prices, are so reasonable, that is on my list that is the one on my, list i, love those little girls they are so cute, anyway let's see, yeah so like some of them are really, good prices, so like the sweet safari card making, the 17 stamps is 14.95, for the sweet safari card making stamp, and the thin cuts is 25.95, some places sell their dies for for, almost 30, just for the die just the dies, you're getting the stamps and the dies, and you're supporting small business, supporting some of your local to the, person locally, anyway um get started by, getting started this is what i'm doing, watch no instructions, we're just going on a wing and a prayer, because that's how i work, i don't follow instructions well at all, so i've got my ink i've got my, watercolor i've got my embellishment, thread i got my whole kit i got, everything here, so now what i need to do is this, i'm not using the cardstock they had in, here i'm using, you guys do too so let's just do that, we'll use what's in here, all right so for starters we're going, to put our embellishment thread, so let's get a card stock out, and let's get an envelope out because, we're gonna stamp and stuff on this, envelope too to make it pretty when you, send it, all right so let's set that aside, and let's bring in our stamping platform, and i really should have cleaned that up, before we started, take a sip of my coffee if you got some, coffee or a drink or anything you can, pause this video if you need to go get, anything, just click that little pause button you, guys can, rewind if you missed something you can, fast forward speed it up if it's too, slow, we need to make a map, we're going to fold this down, now this card base will measure when, it's finished i believe four and a, quarter, by five and a half let's measure it and, see, it is, four and a quarter, by five and a half four and a quarter, all right so now we got, we're gonna get a couple ideas from them, instructions let's see, like i said i'm not gonna cut it exactly, like they say, we can make that one, that one's pretty i think i know anybody, who's got an anniversary coming up, though, congratulations happy wedding day, and happy anniversary happy daniel, versus, happy anniversary happy anniversary, happy happy happy happy, happy happy joey joey happy happy, jewelry dream, so i like that but instead of happy, anniversary, foreign, a measurement okay so i'm going to be, referencing here for the measurements, flower paper would be one egg and it, would be two and three fourths by four, and a quarter, and then we need one b, which is, i don't see one b i see one e two d, four e one d two c two c two c two c one, d, one d one two f two e, [Music], three, here you use, 1a 1b, 1c, right here, i'm going through and reading all of, these that i need one d, right here, okay and one e so i need a one, b one c one is the flower paper, and it is two and a three-fourths by, five, and a quarter so 2.75, by 5.5, and that is the flowers so let's pull, out our paper, and i love that they come in a nice, sturdy, back all right let's see, so we have our paper there's our, and that is two and three fourths, by five and a quarter and guys this is, my first time using a workshop, so bear with me, and know that if i can do this you can, too, so one a is two and three, fourths by five and a quarter, my cat must have got up on here all, right so we, got five and a quarter, we're going to have specific, measurements for that, so we don't want to mess that up all, right so now we're going to cut, i think the paper looks prettier in this, direction, so five and a quarter, move that to the side and then we need, it to be two, and three fourths, so they're only going to do the one card, today because we're going to be water, coloring, all right and then we needed, pull this back open here again, now we need 1b which was right here, and it's the light blue, and it is one third fourth, by five and a quarter one point seven, five by five and a quarter let's pull, that color out, so, darker than this side, and we want the light side, so we're gonna have it facing up as we, cut it, move this water over here i got the, water for the um, water coloring all right and we're gonna, cut, these at, five and a quarter by one and, three-fourths, right one and one, two, three fourths so there we go we have, that, and then we need to do do do, do do we need a one c, and we said one c was on this, where did we say one c was guys right, here so we need it by, five and a quarter, by one so this should already be five, and a quarter, this piece we're going to turn it and, we're going to cut one inch, strip, and that's the wrong color we need, the dark coffee, hard because you're cutting the wrong, color when do you're not paying, attention, all right so on this one we have our, light and our dart, and they're a little bit hard to tell, the difference but you gotta pay, attention so this is our dart, and we're cutting it to be five and a, quarter, make sure it's on there straight, five and a quarter and then we'll turn, that, sideways and we'll cut one inch, cut us a one inch then we need, okay we got one a one b one c now we, need one d, 1d, same color, 1d, day, and it's supposed to be, two and a quarter by three and a quarter, so, we're going to measure the three and a, quarter this way, three and a quarter, by two and a quarter, if you're new to card making this is a, really good way for you to, learn how to do layouts and stuff too so, okay we have that one, and then i believe it's one e that we, need it is, and it's a two by three of the vanilla, yeah the french vanilla cardstock, and we're gonna cut a two by three strip, so we're gonna take this and we're gonna, go, three inches, by two inches, learning with me that's kind of awesome, right, okay so we have all of our pieces cut, now, and i think we can just stamp what we, want and die cut what we want let's go, right here all right so, those are the pieces that we want to, stamp and cut, so let's use our watercolor paper, this one already pulled out this one's, already pulled out, all right, so we're going to go ahead and just cut, down, a quarter, by five and a half because that just, seems to be my favorite number to cut, things, and that'll fit in my misti okay, so we're going to stamp these, for you put our watercolor in there, and put that there now we're going to, come up here, and we're going to pull out our stamp, set, and we're going to get, this stamp, this stamp this stamp, so we pulled out this one and this one, and then we need the two leaves, all right and we need to do this so we, make the most of our, paper so, now i learned a new trick, and of course my pencil missing, but if they stick to your finger just, use an eraser, and usually the more you use a stamp the, less it'll stick to your fingers, oh yeah you got to remember when you're, doing this it's going to have to die cut, so leave a little bit of space for the, dies to go around it, that'll be good all right, now memento ink, does, it's got a smear, let's try this one let's try this one, the brisbane real raven this is just, inks in my stash because i don't have i, just started becoming a maker i don't, have, everything in this thing all right so we, can put these instructions to the side, and we're just gonna stamp up our images, now some people, have what they call a chucky, that they go over their, stamps with i'm sorry i'm bouncing but, i don't a ring anchor for this thing, i think i need a re-inker, oh excuse me, um that watercolor, watercolor paper, all right one more time and let's see if, we can get it, really dark and crisp looking, ivy calls it cpr that's what i'm doing, i'm doing cpr, all right now, get our watercolors never used them, before so, mother, really but look at this, every single color that we could, possibly need look we even got skin, tones, see that the pinks and the purples and, the greens and the blues and the teals, and the, oh i'm loving it loving it loving it now, our basic of a card is going to be white, with some brown, i just have sapphire blue and i'm pretty, sure that's the sapphire, and then, that's like that's like the toffee, one of those and then of course we're, gonna, now they didn't do their leaves green, but, if i can find where i put it, where did i put it hello hello hello, shimmer pen, where did you go, let me use my avocado glimmer pen, on those parts so okay, we got our bottle of water we gotta how, do i open this, i'm weary with new things like this, tight fit here, there we go all right let's open it up, and let's get our water brush now, watching other people watercolor, learned that you should um, wet your paper first so that the colors, kind of do what you want to, do so i'm just going to get flowing, try to at least, oh this is the brush i used for glitter, all right you know what i'm that water, is not flowing out, so guess what i'm gonna do i'm just, gonna come over here, and i'm just gonna dip my pen, in some water i'm just going to do that, now i want to wet it but i don't want to, saturate it, you know what i'm saying i just want to, do it so that the water, and this will test out to see also, if um, if our ink is gonna smudge or if our ink, is gonna stay, and so far it looks good like it's gonna, stay, go over it like that just to get a, little bit of water on there, now the way they've got it painted so, that it matches, is they've got a little bit of this i, believe this is the toffee, and because i'm going to be die cutting, these i can just test my colors out here, over there a little bit of color, there, i don't think i like that, i'm not really good with watercoloring, i do have good and i probably should my, white, first but i can always go back, over, with the um brown if we need to, all right let's pick up a little bit of, white french vanilla white, something like that let's just make sure, we got clean color we do, all right now we're just gonna, bring our white in like that, and i kind of made my flower brown, see i should have done it, and i can't really aside from i can't, my color, no we'll see them, hard to see it, my little baby snoring, and i am no good at this i'm new to all, this stuff, this close to my heart and, never used their watercolors before and, i'm don't water color a whole lot guys, but, i thought what the heck, right right, so i'm gonna come in here and we're, gonna, just a little bit of, bring that like that, all right, now we're gonna use our avocado brush, that was not a whole lot of water, coloring was it, new but that's okay now we're going to, use this, because i love, so let's make sure our color is flowing, it is and let's do our leaves they got, their leaves blue, and they left them white on the card but, i'm not doing it because, i want my leaves to be green like leaves, are supposed to be, whether it'll clash with the card or not, i don't know but we'll find out right, right, i could have made them blue but i really, didn't want to, i think green's better because that's, what colored leaves are by, neat natural, by nature nature medium green, worried about going up like the way the, green pops up, all right put the lid back on this, now you know cricket has the um, serenity cut files from cricut if you go, through my site and you get them there, all right i'm not going to move the, camera, so it's you're going to see it kind of, close like this, all right now we need, so we've got on our sit big shot we've, got our main plate, and then the adapter, we have this and we're going to use this, washi tape because it seems to be the, least i'm, the one that doesn't tear my paper, the doll is one to get to all right so, here's the die set this one here, is for this one here, let's put that there and this one, is for this and we gotta, figure out i think we can go this way, hmm, [Music], like that maybe, yeah i think that goes like that this, one we, shifted why did we shift that, because you didn't tape it down, okay we got these, this one, and that one goes there, and then we put these aside, so we're going to take this one down, first, oh my gosh i'm no good at this guys i'm, sorry, i used to cricket more than i use this, thing, magnetic, and my fingers don't like to cooperate, so, there we go well that's not working, that's kind of holding that one, up in the air like that we don't want, that, please don't click off please keep, watching, there we go you get back where you, belong, and i do put these the tape on my pants, and then bring it up kind of like when, you're doing, when you're doing anything that is, sticky and you need to, make it less sticky you know it's called, i guess defuzzing or, something like that i don't know but, let's just tape it like that i really, shouldn't put that on my, image just keep it right there, and then, this one was tricky figuring out there, we go, all right now let's run it through, and we're going to turn it this way and, we're gonna set it up, and come back, nerve stuff in my back, and be like please don't pull up my, paper it didn't could do, so we've got one put it over there with, our card stuff, get our magnet back so we don't misplace, our, dies, it did kind of take a little bit of my, paint with it but, that's all right all right i'll put that, one over there, and then we'll lift that up and we'll, pick up these two little pieces and, we'll put them over there, we'll set that to the side and we will, take our stamps and our dies and put, them, back you know, put them together then we're going to, take this little thing here, and get it out of our way this is how i, store it, no i do not store that in there like, that i store it like this, and then i pick it up and say oh, shoulder please don't go out, i ended up putting neuropathy after it, and it's been like three years since, i've had shingles, and i'm still dealing with the, neuropathy, all right, so you see how their papers got like a, torque, torn to it let's see what that tells us, to do, prepare each piece blah blah blah behind, it in a later step, okay, i don't know where i put my thread my, glue dots, oh we have to stamp happy anniversary on, that, now how come theirs has the black line, our set doesn't have a have a, wear around it, all that, all right we got to do some more, stamping, we're not done stamping, with the sapphire, so, okay here's my chip sapphire ink, and i only have it in distress oxide so, let's get our misti back out, let's get these stamps off here we'll, clean everything when we're completely, done, off video but we're gonna clean them, every time so that way, you guys see what i'm doing because i, don't want to keep playing around with, this, so we're going to put that back where it, [Music], belongs, fingers work please please work, thank you all right so we're gonna have, this like this, and this is gonna be like this, that's going to be like that, we're going to draw a line around, that's what they've got, oh i have a blue watercolor pencil here, from my stash, i'll just do it with this wait, test it linda see what color blue it is, i guess no it's not dark enough, let's see what this ink looks like, it up that it's like, that, just like that, and then we're gonna, go like that and they've got it squiggly, so, oh my goodness put that there, let's go, but we're gonna go over and round these, corners a little, okay, then we're gonna stamp, these little flowers right here, it's not really that lit it could, stamp our little doom fletchy here now, it shows the line going all the way, around but i didn't do that because, it helps me, line this back up where it needs to be, because that's going to cover anyway so, you're not even going to see that, so that's going to be like that here, and then we're gonna actually done that, on the misti, because then i could have made that, darker again, and then this one, is going to be, right here, i think i'm going to bring something in, and cover that we'll see, i could turn it over and do it, differently, let me look through my stamps and see if, i have, a border i know i have us borders that, are february borders, stamp in the month february stamp of the, month is, borders oh i think, we could do stitching guys, we'd be cute stitched, not part of the serenity workshop this, is the february stamp of the month, and if you place an order 50 or more, once you reach the 50 mark the stamp set, is only five dollars, if you want to purchase just set, 18.95 i believe, all right let's see, let's use our misti so we can hold our, paper in place let's, start over with our paper first though, so i'm gonna put this right here all, right, i'm gonna bring it just like that, i'm gonna bring that right there, remembering that right there, and we're gonna say about right there, so we're going to come over here and get, our line, now this is when i need my eraser, let's just do, let's just do it like this let's not use, our misti, now can we stamp into misti like this, yep and get our, blue ink, and we can just, stamp our, and then stamp our line, stamp our line, that's a little screwy looking, so we may end up with the other side, we'll see, that kind of move this, but, yep it worked, and we're going to double line it then, we're going to do it all the way, okay i'm gonna put that over here, and then we're gonna go what did we do, with our little, piece that we had right here, and we're going to place our flower, about where it goes, and just, and then gonna stamp, happy, i guess we're just gonna go ahead and do, the anniversary, we could do birthday but we'll do, anniversary, people have anniversaries happy, anniversary, like this, and we're gonna find our, ink, and this is memento inc we do sell black, ink, there we go and we're going to flip it, over, and we're going to do it on this, because how bad it, i might have these lines too small no, there we go, we'll fit right there, so now we gotta figure out which side we, like better, um, all right set that aside, all right and let's we're just gonna, tear, this no we're not tearing this one, we're tearing this one, and we're just gonna take a little piece, of it right here, just like that and the same thing to, this one, this isn't tearing very good, i think in their workshop that they, teach they teach you how to do this i've, never torn paper like this before to do, this with so, we'll see how that works i don't think i, like that like there, yeah i don't like how that gets out like, that, and i'm wasting my paper guys is here, and we've got, like that like that, there and that there, all right the first thing we're going to, do is we're going to put this piece, right here down, i don't know if that's how they're doing, it in their thingy, so i'm going to do it and i'm just using, double sided tape, you can use glue or whatever you have, or you can purchase some, tapes and foams and okay i'm not going, to use it on anything else because guess, what, it's stuck to that okay i'm out of it, i'm at a double-sided tape so, what do we use then oh, faithful glue here, we're going to burnish that we're going, to peel this before we put our glue on, because, okay i don't know if it come that way or, if i did, something by using this for so many, different things but this is bent a, little, at the tip and if you can tell, and that makes it so much easier to do, that, get all those things in there all right, now this i went over a little on the, edges so i'm just gonna, tuck it in that way because i don't want, it sticking out so i'm just gonna tuck, it in like that, and then i'm gonna come up here, and i'm gonna add some glue, and i love the arc let it dry, so, there we go i wasn't going to do this, like they did, and i turned around and did it exactly, how they did it, in the diagram all right then we're, going to put the blue on, any of the close to my heart supplies, that you see me use today, and pretty much a lot of like, that paper is so pretty that side, it's like or if you want to do a happy, anniversary for your husband you don't, want to give him flowers you can turn, that over, this way and then it becomes a masculine, looking card, versus the flowers, comes with my metal tip, and i'm using a stick pin, from my sewing kit that, likes to rust and now i can't find it, what did i do with it, i need to find that stick thing because, now i can't, freaking use my glue what did i do with, it, i usually stick it in my mouth guys, i'm blind where is it, where did my stick pin go, oh if it's on the floor i'm gonna regret, it hopefully i find it because if it's, on the floor, then i gotta worry about me and i gotta, worry about the cat, i'm gonna do it this glue's gotta come, out, come on glue you gotta come out of there, these metal tips are great because, you can control your you don't waste, your glue, when it's flowing real good i can get a, much thicker, dough so that it sticks faster, all right now i'm going to line this one, up and i want it to be, about that far from the, edge, there we go, all right so now, we're going to glue our little piece, here, peace oh wait, no we're gluing we're gonna glue, i'm gluing and i decided to use the side, i liked, all right now we're going to get our, foam tape our 3d foam tape, which i'm using something for my stash, and this is how i'm going to do it i'm, going to lay it right here like this, and line it up right there, i'll bend that back like that, and thanks to ryan from the glitter, grungy glitter greetings because i, watched his video and he did that and i, was like oh that's a good idea, that'll keep me from wasting, put one in the middle too, just for that added, sticky that, takes me a little to, get it off of here even using this, so i'm going to poke it down in, i'm going to try to slide that, underneath, and of course, didn't i would go normally go in but, guess what, on the side it doesn't usually work for, me, so if i just get in here like this, the trick is trying not to break that, that card opens this way maybe the, orientation is right, look at the photo this only goes over, into the blue, and let's try to make sure that we're, lined up, straight here, i'll put that right there, then we're going to glue this, down to here and then we'll add foam, tape after we add our other pieces maybe, we'll see all right this has to be, like that, so, all right where the heck is my stick pin, i found it guys yay, i found it, okay, all right i'm gonna put this down like, so, and i'm gonna start from here work that, way because that glue, came on thick so i don't want to squeeze, it out the front, a little dryer i just want to do, oh this is supposed to tuck into that, like that, let's see i don't have the right one, anyway, that's how it's supposed to go according, to them, there we go, but since i don't know where i put them, i'm using, this, i'm getting, there we go and then we just need to, take and slide some, of this in there i don't know how we're, gonna do that but, and then, um, do this without, masters happening here, okay, the same way, to add, i'm just going to take our thread, i'm just going to loop it around our, fingers, three times one, two, and three, and then we're gonna cut it and we're, gonna wrap it again because we need to, make sure that we have, what we have, all right this piece, i'm gonna lift that up and we're gonna, put some glue right here, and make sure all of it is in the glue, and i don't like the way it unraveled, and don't have to read it unraveled on, me get back over here, you're unraveling and it's not okay, one, three, so let's just put this like that, and this, around like that, and then twist that, whole bunch of glue so we can really set, it down in tape right here, and use it just close it and now i got, you don't see all the marker stuff, coming through, but you know what i think i'm gonna, go ahead and just round those corners, take that sharpness away, there we go there we go, that looks good right i like it, put this back in your glue and uh, when i finish this bottle of glue i have, got to wash, that bottle out, i'm looking for one
