hey everyone and welcome to the club, today i'll be showing you how to draw a, clone trooper from star wars, [Music], let's get started at the top of our page, with the top edge of the visor so we, draw a straight line that goes across, our page starting from the left go all, the way across, towards the right now from these ends i, just want to curve in and then down, [Music], and then from here we draw two straight, lines that angle up and then we'll leave, a gap in the center so let's start on, the left side, go up with a straight angle leaving a, gap here we line up the inside, draw a straight angle line coming down, towards the right, now from these two points you want to, angle down and in so we're going to, bring this down towards the mouth so on, the left side we want to leave a gap in, the center again so coming down and in, leave a space in the center, [Music], and come down now we're going to cap off, the bottom with a straight line, now down here we're going to draw in the, mouth so from the left corner, curve down and out, towards the left, go to the right side and curve down and, out towards the right, now we're going to connect these two, points with a curve that goes up in the, middle starting on the left, go up, and then down on the right, let's add a few lines in the mouth so, from this point here we're going to draw, a straight line coming down, and then the same thing on the right, side we're going to continue this, pattern across the left, and then on the right, [Music], from the corners of the mouth we want to, draw two short lines that go up the side, now from here we're going to angle up, the cheekbones going out past the eyes, so start on the left we're going to, angle up, and then out, we'll do the same thing on the right, point up, and then out now from here we're going, to go straight up the sides just above, the edge of the visor, right about there, we'll do the same thing on the right, now we're going to connect these two, points with a straight line going across, [Music], now below here which one add a little, trim so we step down, draw another straight line that goes, across, [Music], now let's draw on the top of the head so, for these two coins we're going to, connect it with a half circle but we, want to leave a large gap in the center, here so let's start on the left, and go straight up and curve in, towards the middle we're going to stop, right about there and leave a gap in the, center so let's line up the inside, curve down and out, towards the right, [Music], now we're going to draw on that center, piece that sticks up in the middle here, so from the left side we're going to, step up draw a straight line that comes, down to right about there we do the same, thing on the right stepping up, draw a straight line that comes down to, the same height now we're going to cap, off the top, with a straight line, and the same thing with the bottom, i'm just going to add a little trim on, either side so on the left we're going, to step in, a straight line coming down we'll do the, same thing on the right, let's move back down towards the bottom, of the chin so below the mouth just down, here we draw a short straight line that, goes across, middle now for the ends we're to angle, down and out, and then we're going to close off the, end with a straight line, now from the corner of the mouth i just, want to curve in and then down towards, these points down here so starting on, the left we're gonna go in, and we'll just pull it down, do the same thing on the right going in, and just curving it down, now from these points i want to curve, down and then out so we're just going to, round this out almost like a half circle, coming down, i'm just going to pull that out, and do the same thing on the right side, going down, and then out now it's going to go, straight up and then round this out in, towards these points here so starting on, the left we're going to continue this, curve going around, and we're just going to pull it up and, in, do the same thing on the right going out, and we're just going to pull it, up and then in, [Music], just below this line we're going to step, down and draw a straight line going, across, now on the inside here we're going to, draw two small circles starting on the, left side at the top, i'm just going to draw a circle, do the same thing on the right so we're, gonna line up the top of the circle, [Music], then we draw a smaller circle on the, inside, [Music], now let's move to the outside from these, two points we're going to step in and, draw two short lines coming down so on, the left we're going to step in, draw a straight line coming down to, right about there, on the right we'll do the same so the, same length line on either side now from, this point i want to draw a straight, line coming into this little, intersection here, [Music], right in and do the same thing on the, right, now from these two points here we just, want to round out the jaw so let's start, on the left we're going to go out, and we'll just pull that back in do the, same thing on the right going out, and then pulling that back in now from, here let's draw a straight angle line, just follow that same angle on top, down and right in behind we'll do the, same thing on the right, straight in, behind, now along the top edge here i just want, to draw a series of little curves that, go across starting from the left, draw one little curve, i'm going to leave a little space and, just repeat this, all the way across we'll draw, maybe six of these going across like, that we'll do the same thing on the, right starting from the outside, draw one, two, three, four, five and then six, now just on the side of the head here, we're gonna add those little ear pods so, from this line here we're going to curve, out, and just pull that back in just above, that little corner there, [Music], now we're going to add a little notch, detail on the side of the head so up on, top here it's going to angle down and, then in, and then a straight line coming down, do the same thing on the right so we'll, line up the top, down and in, and then straight down, now let's go in and add some paint, detail to the helmet so starting at the, chin here from these two points you want, to step in, and draw two straight lines going up, underneath the mouth, now we're going to continue these lines, up just above the mouth here so stepping, up we're going to angle out so tapers, out, do the same thing on the right, now these are going to continue up above, the visor so stepping up right in this, little gap here we're going to draw two, straight lines going up, now from here we want to step in, slightly and then angle out to the top, of the head so stepping up we're gonna, step in, angle up, and out and do that on both sides, [Music], okay so now that we got the head let's, work our way down the body i'm going to, start with a little collar first so from, the inside of this curve and occur down, in the middle, and then back up on the right side now, let's move out and draw the sides of the, chest so from here we're going to step, out, coming out and then down, do the same thing on the right coming, out, and then down now it's my angle in for a, little facet in the chest, i'm going to connect these two points, with a curve going up, and down on the right and take the, outside points and do the same curve, going up, and then out, i'm going to split the chest in the, center right here so underneath the, collar we're going to go straight down, the middle, then from these two bottom corners we're, going to curve out towards the hip so on, the left side we're just going to curve, out, and then down, then we'll connect the bottom with a, curve for the lower part of the belt, i'm going to step up and draw that same, curve for the top of the belt, [Music], just below the chest in the center here, we're gonna draw a straight line that, goes across, now we're gonna angle down the sides, angle out and down now we're gonna curve, towards the top corner of the belt, coming out, and then down, in the center here we're going to add, two lines one on the left coming down, towards the top of the belt and then one, on the right, now let's add some lines across the belt, starting in the center here draw one, line, we'll move over towards the left draw, another line, and then one more we'll do the same, thing on the right, now we're going to add some paint detail, to the chest so starting just underneath, the collar on the left we're going to, angle out and then down, [Music], same thing on the right now from here we, want to go straight down the little, facet, and then we're going to angle down and, out, now let's continue with the legs so in, the middle here we step down here and, draw a little curve from left to right, for the lower torso, on the left side we're going to angle, with a straight line going out towards, the inner part of the knee, doing the same thing on the right i'm, going to curve down and in towards the, heel, and then let's round out the bottom of, the foot, from the heel we'll curve down, and back up, on both sides, now on the inside of the heel we're, going to draw two circles, so one on the left, and then one on the right one make sure, we leave a little bit of space, on the insides now from the toe i want, to curve up the top of the foot in, towards the circle, starting on the left we're going to go, up, and then just pull that in towards the, side of the circle we're going to, continue this all the way down towards, the heel, do the same thing on the right going up, and behind the circle now we're just, going to continue this down towards the, heel, now we're going to add a little sole, taking this curve we're just going to, step up and just duplicate it, do the same thing on the right side, [Music], and then from the top curve of the foot, we're going to curve down, towards the sole, that's going to draw on the outer part, of the leg so from the top of the foot, we're going to step out, just draw a straight angle line going, out towards the left, do the same thing on the right i'm going, to curve in towards the hip so curving, out and then back in, now i'm going to add a little boot cuff, here so from the knee i want to curve, down and then in towards the inside part, of the leg, do that on both sides, and add a little band along the bottom, so stepping down, just follow that same curve from the, outside to the inside, and same thing on the right now we're, going to draw on the top of the knee pad, so from this point here the knee we're, going to step up and curve over and then, down, going up, and just pulling that down on the inside, of the leg we're gonna do the same thing, on the right so step in, curve up, and then out, [Music], and then from the hips we're trying to, curve down and in towards the inside, corners of the lower torso, starting on the left we're going to, curve in, and then down, and from the lower torso on the right, will go up and then out, [Music], now i just want to add an edge for the, upper thigh armor so from that same, point in the lower torso we're just, going to taper this out towards the, outside of the leg, going out, and then up, [Music], now let's move back up and draw on the, arms so let's start with the shoulder, pads first so from the top corner of the, chest i want to curve down, and then pull that out we'll do the same, thing on the right going down, and then pulling that out now i want to, curve in the opposite direction in, behind the helmet so we go up, and then in, [Music], now on the left side i have the arm bent, holding a pistol so we're starting the, corner of the shoulder pad, we curve across, towards the wrist now from here we're, going to draw on the thumb, and go up, we're going to come down now we're going, to pull this up, just aiming towards the halfway point of, this curve, now from here i just want to hook down, and then in for the palm now we're going, to stack the fingers down this way now, the index finger is going to be pushed, out a little bit further so starting at, the edge of the thumb and draw an oval, now we're going to tuck the two other, fingers in behind so starting at the, bottom, curve out, and then we'll tuck this in underneath, the thumb, and do one more coming out around, and then up, now we're going to draw the bottom edge, of the pistol so just on the top of the, finger right starting from the thumb, we're going to angle out, towards the left now i'm going to go, straight up the side, going up, now we're gonna bring this back in, right about there now i'm just gonna add, a little bit of detail so at the bottom, of the line right here we're gonna go up, about halfway, now we're gonna go over the thumb, and pull it past the thumb line, i'm gonna square this off coming down, now i'm gonna pull this in behind the, thumb now from this point here i'm just, gonna angle down, in behind this little line here, let's go back to the front and draw the, nozzle so from the top we're going to, step down, go across, from the bottom we'll step up, go across, and then close off the end with a, straight line let's add a little sight, up here so again from the corner we're, going to step in a straight line going, up, go across with the short line now we're, going to angle it down, now let's add a little detail up here, step over draw a short line going up, now from this corner we're going to step, in, and go up and now we're just going to, connect it, with a straight line now let's draw the, little trigger up here so beside the, finger we're going to step out, curve around the finger and then back in, we're going to add the end of the handle, underneath this finger so on the left, side i'm going to draw one straight line, coming down, same thing on the right and close it off, with a straight line now the bottom of, the palm is going to come from behind, this handle up and towards the wrist so, let's start down here, curve around the palm, and then up in towards the wrist now, from here on the side of the palm i want, to curve down and then in towards the, elbow, to right about there now i'm going to go, straight up in an angle, in behind the chest, from the inside of the elbow i'm going, to curve in and then down towards the, bottom of the elbow, around, that i'm going to add a little trim on, the wrist stepping in, come around and then down, [Music], now on the right side i'm just going to, have the arm hanging down here so i'm, going to start just at the bottom edge, of this chest, curving out, and then down, we're going to round out the thumb with, a little half circle, and at the end of the half circle i'm, just going to draw a little bracket, and then at the bottom of the thumb i'm, going to swirl around the bracket, and then go up, i'm going to step down draw on the, second finger the curve going up, now the third finger is going to go all, the way around in behind the shoulder, pad, so going around i want to try to leave a, little bit of overlap, on the bottom of the shoulder pad here, now from the inside of the wrist, curve down, and then out i'm going to draw that, twice so stepping up, just adding a little trim, i'm going to step up again about halfway, down the arm, draw a seam
